In Spain, and now in Tenerife, it has firmly taken root. More and more people on the island are embracing the brunch culture, which invites diners to leisurely enjoy both the surroundings and quality cuisine.

One establishment in Tenerife has elevated this experience to the next level, with many considering it the biggest brunch in the Canary Islands. Content creators @guachinchesmodernos showcased the experience at Zona on their social media, where Jonay can be heard asking in amazement: “Can two people really eat all this?” For €35 for two people, the restaurant offers a table laden with natural juices, coffees, fruit, cured meats, sandwiches, wraps, pancakes, pastries, and much more. More Than Just Brunch: A Full-Day Destination
Beyond its famous brunch menu, Zona offers a varied à la carte selection for both lunch and dinner, with options including burgers, salads, poke bowls, baos, hot dogs, and sharing plates. From 7:00 pm, the atmosphere transforms into a ‘tardeo’ (late afternoon social) accompanied by a DJ, making it a major meeting point in Playa de las Américas. The space also features a children’s play area, making it a perfect option for families.

Adults can tuck into a brunch packed with sweet and savoury dishes that is almost impossible for two people to finish. The venue is located in Playa de las Américas, within the Parque Santiago 6 Shopping Centre. Zona is open every day from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm, but the brunch is only available on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. It is considered one of the most complete brunches on Tenerife’s south coast and is designed for customers to switch off and enjoy the flavour and atmosphere of Playa de las Américas.
