Tenerife Cements Its Status as a Technology and Innovation Hub
Tenerife is strengthening its position as a leading center for technology and innovation ecosystems with the third edition of HUB INtech Tenerife. Organized by the Tenerife Island Council through the Tenerife Science and Technology Park (PCTT), the event will take place from November 20th to 22nd at the Iberostar Heritage Grand Mencey Hotel. This gathering is establishing itself as one of the largest innovation, entrepreneurship, and investment spaces in the Canary Islands.
Driving Economic Diversification Through Technology
Over three days, HUB INtech Tenerife will bring together experts, established companies, startups, investors, and institutions to address the challenges and opportunities presented by digital transformation in key sectors for the island’s economic diversification. Juan José Martínez, Councillor for Innovation, Research and Development, emphasizes that HUB INtech Tenerife is a “key piece” in the island’s strategy to diversify its economy and boost new market niches linked to knowledge and technology.
He further highlights that the event generates a real environment of opportunities for high value-added projects, demonstrating that Tenerife possesses the “talent, capacity, and vision necessary to compete in the global technological arena.” Olga Martín Pascual, Managing Director of PCTT, notes that the meeting consolidates the Science and Technology Park as an engine for business growth and a launch platform for initiatives seeking to position themselves in emerging markets.
Showcasing International Tech Trends
The event turns Tenerife into a showcase for international trends in areas such as Hardware, Electronics, Home Automation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Virtual Reality & immersive technologies. The primary mission of HUB INtech Tenerife is to promote innovation, talent, and digital transformation as pillars of the island’s economic and social development.
The gathering will delve into the role of Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, and immersive technologies as engines of economic, educational, and social change. Furthermore, it will demonstrate how these tools contribute to generating new opportunities for skilled employment, boosting technological training, and attracting talent and investment to Tenerife.
Exploring the Event’s Diverse Program
The thematic axes will be developed across seven different spaces, aiming to define digital development to expand monetization and investment through innovation.
Inaugural Lecture: The edition kicks off with the talk “The Invisible Revolution: How Artificial Intelligence Opens New Opportunities,” led by Raúl Ordóñez, an expert in digital transformation and AI.
HUB INTECH Premium Forum – Diario de Avisos Foundation: A debate space divided into two panels: Panel 1: “Is the Future of Tourism Technological?” with Victoria López, Isidro Fernández, Orlando Santana, and Olga Martín Pascual. Panel 2: “Is Innovation the Tool With Which We Build the Future?” with Iván Ballesteros, Svetlana Velikanova, and Juan José Martínez.
Tenerife INvierte Forum: A meeting point for entrepreneurs and investors featuring project presentations seeking funding. Includes the lecture “Investment Trends” by Ferrán Martínez, former professional basketball player.
Descubre XR: For the first time in the Canary Islands, the 8th edition of this national reference event in extended reality will be held. It will feature talks, roundtables, demonstrations, and a live connection with VR Day Valencia. Experts such as Laura Morales, Laura Raya, Celia Jiménez, Verónica Rodríguez, and Cynthia Gálvez will participate.
Binary System Showroom: An exhibition showcasing the latest innovations in hardware, electronics, and home automation from international manufacturers.
PCTT Point: A zone to promote collaboration between startups, companies, and investors, generating synergies and business opportunities.
Training Workshops: Practical sessions on: Keys to Good Digital Positioning in 2026, with Lolo Morales; Real Estate Tokenization, with José María Prieto, Cristina Romero, and Javier Gispert; and Digital Real Estate Investment and Asset Tokenization, with Eric Sánchez.

The event is held in collaboration with Binary System, Descubre XR, VirtualOn, and the Diario de Avisos Foundation. All actions of the Tenerife Science and Technology Park are co-financed by the Canary Islands Development Fund (FDCAN).
