Tenerife’s Massive Christmas Ice Park Opens This Friday
The Tenerife Fairground (Recinto Ferial de Tenerife) will host the PIT (Parque Infantil de Tenerife) 2025 from this Friday, with the attraction remaining open until 5th January. The Vice President of the Fairground, Manuel Fernández, stated that “this initiative is now firmly established as a comprehensive leisure and entertainment proposal for the whole family,” and will be developed under the ‘Ice PIT’ theme.
A Vast Multidisciplinary Space for All Ages
The PIT is organised across the entire surface area of the Tenerife Fairground, occupying two floors and the terrace with more than 18,000 square metres of space. Over 250 people are involved in its organisation. The Cabildo de Tenerife details that PIT 2025 is a consolidated multidisciplinary space where children and young people, accompanied by their families, can enjoy amusement rides alongside recreational, educational, and sporting activities.
Attractions and the Celebrated Ice Rink
The programme includes zones with inflatable games, sports areas, creative workshops, interactive technology spaces, and live shows, all supervised by qualified staff to ensure visitor safety. The park features an ice rink, which celebrates its tenth anniversary this year, allowing visitors to try or perfect their ice-skating skills. The installation will be fully equipped and staffed by specialised monitors to ensure a safe and fun experience.
Opening Times and Ticket Prices
The inauguration is this Friday at 15:00. Standard opening hours will be from 10:00 to 20:00, with exceptions on 24th and 31st December (10:00 to 15:00), 25th December (15:00 to 20:00), 1st January (15:00 to 20:00), and 5th January (10:00 to 15:00). General admission will cost €10, except on this Friday’s ‘Ice Day’ (€7). Large families will pay €5, and there is free entry for children under 3, adults over 65, and people with disabilities.
