First Naterial Store Opens in the Canary Islands
Leroy Merlin España, the leading home improvement retailer, has inaugurated its first Naterial store in the Canary Islands. This new outlet, specialising in garden and outdoor furniture solutions, is located at Avenida Ayyo, s/n, in the Adeje Shopping commercial park. Its opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 9:00 to 22:00, and on Sundays and bank holidays from 10:00 to 22:00.
A €3 Million Investment for Tenerife
Naterial Adeje is the first store of its kind in the archipelago and the fourth in Spain, joining existing locations in Sant Pere de Ribes, Fuengirola and Palma. The format is designed to cater to the growing interest in enjoying outdoor living spaces with cosy and functional options. The new store represents an investment of around three million euros and has a total area of 1,100 m², of which 980 m² is dedicated to the showroom.
Expert Service and Local Economic Impact
The concept focuses on customer experience and inspiration through product displays and the creation of outdoor projects. The new space will be staffed by a team of nine professionals who have received specialised training to provide expert guidance and a distinctive shopping experience. The company now has nearly 700 employees in Tenerife, out of almost 1,200 in the Canary Islands as a whole. This is in addition to indirect job creation linked to transport, installation, logistics and auxiliary services, reinforcing the brand’s positive impact on the local economy.

This space presents a more qualitative design focused on experience. Its 40 display areas allow customers to visualise real environments, facilitating inspiration and the choice of materials and equipment. Furthermore, Naterial Adeje is supported by the existing Leroy Merlin Adeje store and an external warehouse to offer stock availability from day one and throughout the twelve months of the year, guaranteeing a wide range independent of seasonal campaigns.
