Icod de los Vinos Unveils New Digital Gateway for Visitors
The Icod de los Vinos Town Hall, through its public company Icodtesa, is moving forward with initiatives from its 2024 “Strategic Tourism Plan.” After several months of collaborative work between Icodtesa staff and JFT Comunicación, the municipality has proudly launched its new official tourism website: icoddelosvinosturismo.com.
A Comprehensive Showcase of Local Treasures
For Gerardo Rizo, Councilor for Tourism and Icodtesa, this new website is a comprehensive platform designed to promote Icod de los Vinos. It features extensive content that highlights the diverse attractions of the municipality. While the renowned Drago Park, home to the ancient Drago Tree and the town’s primary tourist draw, is a central focus, the site also spotlights other points of great interest. It aims to promote the area’s rich historical, cultural, and natural heritage, with dedicated sections for its viticulture and gastronomy. Furthermore, the platform incorporates various private initiatives related to tourism and commerce, offering a complete overview of what visitors can experience.
Modern Design for an Enhanced User Experience
From a digital perspective, the councilor emphasized that the goal was to create a modern tourism website fully aligned with the destination’s brand. The redesign significantly improves the user experience, making it easier for potential visitors to find any information they need about the municipality, from planning their itinerary to discovering hidden local gems.
