Granca Live Fest Unveils Stellar 2026 Lineup for Fifth Anniversary

Fifth anniversary celebration unveils major acts

While names like Alejandro Sanz, Aitana, Dani Martín, Lola Índigo and Viva Suecia were already known as headliners for the fifth Granca Live Fest this coming 2-4 July in Gran Canaria’s capital, that did nothing to dampen the excitement and anticipation for the official unveiling of much of the full lineup. The launch took place at the Estadio de Gran Canaria, the festival’s home for all five of its years. Organiser Leo Mansito of New Event stated, “What was a dream has become a beautiful reality, which moves us and at the same time charges us with responsibility to keep growing year after year.” The commemorative event for the festival’s fifth anniversary drew enormous interest, confirming the scale it has achieved and its key role in the cultural projection of the archipelago.

A festival that puts the Canaries on the map

Five years after its birth, the Granca Live Fest has established itself as the premier music festival in the Canary Islands and an essential summer cultural date in Spain, placing the Canaries at the forefront of the most current and relevant musical offerings. The presence of political and business leaders from Canarian society was notable, led by the President of the Gran Canaria Council, Antonio Morales; the Mayor of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Carolina Darias; and the Deputy Minister of Tourism for the Canary Islands Government, José Manuel Sanabria. In their speeches, all congratulated Leo Mansito and his entire team for building this project from nothing into what is now considered one of Spain’s leading music festivals, with an international reach that has previously brought stars like Maluma, Rosalía, Will Smith, Maná and Robbie Williams to the island.

New additions to an already powerful bill

The anniversary celebration also served to advance the state of the 2026 lineup, which is now largely defined, and to announce new additions joining the previously confirmed artists. These new names bolster a programme already packed with major figures in Spanish and international music. The latest announcements notably include Dani Fernández, one of the most solid and successful artists in current Spanish pop; the arrival of Danny Ocean, adding an international dimension with one of the most recognised Latin live acts of the moment; and Carlos Rivera, a figure with massive reach and international projection.

The dream come true for local talent

Alongside these stars, the festival continues to champion emerging talent and the local scene, with a notable presence of Canarian artists—a proud tradition, this year with a very special feeling for the Granca Live Fest family and Gran Canarian society. Seeing names like Dani Calero or Wendy Ruiz on the poster is a wonderful example of dreams coming true. Wendy confessed she has attended Granca as a member of the public since the first edition, “so seeing my name on the poster today is more than a dream, it’s achieving something I didn’t even dare to dream.”

For comedian and presenter Dani Calero, the announcement was profoundly personal. “Tomorrow marks one year since I was diagnosed with depression, one year since some pretty ugly thoughts left my head… and as a first ‘birthday’ gift for me, it’s hard to manage,” he shared openly. He recalled meeting Leo Mansito in 2021 during the pandemic, who then spoke of bringing C. Tangana and Marc Anthony for a first edition. “I told him he was mad. And look what’s happened in these years… 364 days after being in the absolute pit, I get this gift of being on stage on 4th July in a place I consider my home.”

The 2026 day-by-day lineup

With this preview, Granca Live Fest 2026 confirms an edition of enormous artistic ambition. The daily schedule is taking shape:
Thursday 2 July: Headliner to be announced, plus Dani Fernández, Viva Suecia, Grancanaria artist PtaZeta, PlayaCoco, and Toni Bob.
Friday 3 July: Lola Índigo, Danny Ocean, Carlos Rivera, Conjurer, and Wendy Ruiz, plus one major name still to be announced.
Saturday 4 July: A major tribute to 35 years of Spanish music with Alejandro Sanz, Aitana, and Dani Martín, joined by Dani Calero, Grupo Frontera, Agua del Chorro, and Quique Serra.

Economic impact and sustained growth

In its four editions to date, the Granca Live Fest has generated a cumulative economic impact of €95 million and over 6,000 direct jobs, boosting key sectors and strengthening the local productive fabric. The festival also maintains a firm commitment to sustainability, backed by ISO 20121 and Eventsost certifications, and to values like diversity and equality, with line-ups where female participation carries significant weight. This sustained growth has placed the festival among the country’s major musical events, reflected in its six nominations for the Iberian Festival Awards.

The presentation closed with a short acoustic set by Efecto Pasillo, the festival’s ambassador group, who always fill their performances with good vibes. Five years on, the festival celebrates more than an anniversary; it celebrates having solidified itself as a cultural benchmark that projects the Canary Islands through live music, maintaining its ambition, quality, and unique identity.
