A New Era for a Tenerife Favourite
After an eight-month, €40 million transformation, the five-star GF Gran Costa Adeje has reopened its doors with a completely renewed concept. This major modernization project places a strong emphasis on comfort, cutting-edge technology, and crafting the perfect experience for families. The hotel welcomed its first guests to explore the new spaces and services on its reopening day.
Designed for Serenity and Smart Living
The comprehensive update extends to all guest rooms, which now feature a calming colour palette designed to promote relaxation. A key highlight is the integrated smart home system, allowing guests to intuitively control lighting, air conditioning, and other room features to personalize their stay.
More Than an Aesthetic Upgrade
For Victoria López, President of Grupo Fedola, this renovation “goes beyond a simple aesthetic refresh: it represents an evolution in how we understand rest and comfort.” She emphasizes that the new design “combines serenity, modernity, and functionality, all conceived for the well-being of the entire family,” and underlines that “this transformation is another example of our commitment as a Canary Islands chain to reinvest in improving the destination and adding value to quality tourism in Tenerife.” López adds that “the true heart of GF Gran Costa Adeje is its people: the team that makes it possible every day and the wonderful community of loyal guests who have eagerly awaited the reopening of this much-loved hotel.”
Commitment to Sustainable Operations
As part of the refurbishment, the hotel has implemented significant improvements to reduce its consumption. These include a new, more efficient air conditioning system that adjusts to real-time occupancy, full LED lighting, and automated controls to ensure energy is used only when and where it is needed. For hot water production, the hotel combines heat recovery and solar energy to decrease usage, and new measurement systems have been installed to monitor and optimize consumption across different areas. Further smart additions include door sensors that turn off the air conditioning when a balcony door is opened and a more streamlined laundry management process to concentrate activity and save water and electricity. Together, these measures result in a lower environmental impact and a more efficient operation.
Enhanced Family Leisure and Fun
In the family leisure area, the hotel has introduced a miniclub and a teen club with age-specific programming. A brand-new splash zone with slides has also been unveiled, designed for the safe enjoyment of younger children. These additions solidify the hotel’s position as a leading family holiday destination in Costa Adeje.
Reinventing the Modern Travel Experience
With this renewal, GF Gran Costa Adeje focuses on the real needs of today’s traveller: spaces that encourage rest, technological solutions that simplify the stay, and leisure proposals designed so that every member of the family can find their own perfect spot. Furthermore, Grupo Fedola’s hotel chain reinforces its commitment to Tenerife and Costa Adeje with an investment that not only modernizes the accommodation but also reduces its environmental footprint, strengthening a model for responsible and competitive tourism.
