Canaryfly Enhances Flights with New Onboard Service

Canaryfly Completes Onboard Service Rollout Across Its Network

Canary Islands airline Canaryfly has launched its onboard sales service on routes from Tenerife, marking the completion of this service across its entire inter-island flight network. This means all passengers flying with the airline can now enjoy a curated selection of snacks and beverages designed to make their journey more comfortable and pleasant.

Affordable and Flexible Travel Experience

Cathaysa Santana, Canaryfly’s Director of Marketing and Communication, emphasized the company’s low-cost philosophy. “We were clear that our onboard service had to align with our goals as a low-cost carrier, ensuring our passengers pay exclusively for what they need, with very affordable prices,” she stated. She further explained that each passenger can choose from different options and product combinations at a cost that is remarkably low for in-flight purchases.

A Taste of the Canaries in the Sky

The new menu for this year, which was already available on flights departing from Gran Canaria, features locally produced items and options for all tastes. With accessible prices ranging from just €1 to €3.20, the selection is designed to offer great value. Travelers can choose from hot beverages like coffee with milk or coffee with condensed milk; cold options such as water, juices, soft drinks, or Dorada Especial beer; and a variety of sweet and savory snacks. These include the classic “queque” (pound cake), chocolate croissants, Munchitos, and fruit compote for children.

Convenient Combos and Payment

To enhance the experience, the airline offers special combo deals, such as coffee with a sweet pastry or a soft drink with a savory snack. Passengers also have the flexibility to pay for their purchases either with cash or by card, making in-flight transactions simple and convenient.

A Year of Record Growth and Commitment to Quality

Canaryfly takes pride in having achieved a historic record in 2024, transporting over 625,000 passengers. This milestone underscores its role in supporting the development and well-being of Canary Islands residents by offering the best prices year-round on all its routes.

Internationally Recognized Excellence

The airline’s commitment to quality and safety is backed by prestigious international certifications. In January 2017, Canaryfly obtained the ISO 9001 certification for its Quality Management System and the ISO 14001 for its Environmental Management System, guaranteeing excellence in all flight organization and management processes, both on the ground and in the air.

Furthermore, the airline was recognized in 2018 with the OHSAS certification, later renewed to ISO 45001, for Occupational Health and Safety. Demonstrating its ongoing dedication to operational safety, Canaryfly renewed the prestigious IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) certification in June 2024, which it first achieved in 2018. The IOSA program is an internationally recognized system for evaluating airline operational management and control systems, establishing a solid foundation for safety culture and compliance with aviation authority requirements.

Canaryfly remains committed to continuous improvement, optimizing its resources, reducing its environmental impact, and strengthening its social responsibility.
