A Long-Awaited Return to the Stage
Arde Bogotá, the most influential band in Spanish indie rock today, has announced a concert in Tenerife set for 1 August 2026. It will take place at the Estadio Francisco Peraza ‘La Manzanilla’ in San Cristóbal de La Laguna. This is more than just a gig; it is a long-awaited reunion and the fulfilment of a promise left hanging since the summer of 2023. Back then, the band was forced to cancel their island performance due to the severe wildfires that ravaged Tenerife.
Closing an Emotional Chapter
That exceptional circumstance left the group and their audience with a sense of emotional debt, which, three years later, is finally being settled. “In the summer of 2023 we went to play in Tenerife and couldn’t do the concert because of the terrible fire that devastated the island. We were left with a horrible feeling, but with the promise to return. Finally, we can do it,” the band shared. This Arde Bogotá concert is the only one announced in Spain for 2026, cementing the extraordinary nature of a night destined to become one of the major musical events of the year.
Music with a Purpose for Tenerife
That commitment now materialises in a concert that looks to the present without forgetting the past. In parallel, the band is working on an ecological initiative linked to the island, the details of which will be announced soon. Tenerife, with its natural diversity and strong connection to live music, becomes the perfect stage for an event of this calibre, where culture and landscape meet. The music will transcend the stage to also become a contribution to the island’s future. “We want to help ensure that what prevented us from making music becomes just a bad memory,” they add.
Ticket Details and Artistic Collaboration
On 1 August 2026, Arde Bogotá will once again take to a stage in Tenerife to close a chapter left on pause and to do so, this time, with music as the protagonist and the island as a witness. The concert poster has been created by the artist Clara Ledo, who specialises in illustration and mural painting. Her work is characterised by an allegorical and metaphorical expression of her inner world.
Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, 23 December, at 12:00 (Canary Islands time) and at 13:00 on the Spanish mainland. They can be purchased via entradas.com and tickety.es.
